MODELCO FIBRE LASH

MODELCO FIBRE LASH

Mascara!  As a teen I probably kept Boots afloat with the amount I spent on different mascaras trying to get that perfect curl, volume and length – just like the adverts would show you (I clearly hadn’t cottoned on to the fact that nearly all of them used fake lashes!).  Of course, then there’s fake lashes…applying them was an art form in itself, the ”oh look a tarantula just died on your eyelid” look was never a good one.  If only I’d had ModelCo’s Fibre Lash, it seriously does what it says on the box – brush on false lashes.  No glue, no mess and no dead tarantulas.

As you can see above, you get two tubes – one of mascara and one of the fibres.  It couldn’t be easier!  You apply one coat of the mascara, then apply the fibres to the ends of your lashes, wait 30 seconds and re-apply the mascara.  You can repeat the process depending on how dramatic a look you want.  Et voila!  Some seriously heavy duty lashes.

The questions that immediately came to mind for me were 1) is it going to be a chore to remove? and 2) is it waterproof?  After a bit of research I was told that “Our mascara is not your typical water proof formulation – it actually dissolves in water, so no more panda eyes!” and the website itself says that the product slides off easily with warm water but is smudge and tear proof.  I’ve not yet tested it’s tearproof-ness (yes it’s a word – a made up one, but a word all the same), but I can definitely vouch for it’s smudgeproof-ness (just go with it) and the fact that it’s easy to remove.

So, Salina Says…it is definitely worth the investment (see what I did there?).  You can get your hands on ModelCo’s Fibre Lash exclusively at Boots for £35 and there’s an online offer of free delivery at the moment so if that’s tempting I suggest you get clicking!
